So, I got lots of nice birthday presents this year, but the one that touched me the most was this figurine by WillowTree

it is titled “Sisters by Heart.” Kate gave it to me and it came with a card that described it as “Celebrating a treasured friendship of sharing and understanding.” Which is just what we have. True friendship is one of the most important things that we can obtain in this lifetime. I am ‚ fortunate to have Kate in my life and I think that I have been blessed with many good friends. I appreciate the effort that anyone puts forth to know me better and to share their life with me. I feel more successfull as a person with good relationships than I could ever feel from a “career.” So, to my friends reading this, leave a comment and be recognized for your part in my life. Yes Chris, you have. We met at an MHS basketball game our freshman year of high school. That’s 6 years before I met Josh working at the theatre when I went in to see That Thing You Do, and 7 before I met Kate also at the theatre, though I confess I do not remember the very first time I laid eyes on her, I do think the first time we spoke to one another was the screening of A Bug’s Life.
