Thank You Becca for your writings. It is true I will miss his counsel, but I am very glad that he can return to be with his wife. It is much the same as I felt when Franklin passed away. I knew he was looking forward to seeing his true love.

Nice post, Becca. Before the news of Hinckley's death, I listened to an interesting public-radio conversation about LDS yesterday. I was going to recommend it anyway. Go to http://speakingoffaith.publicradio.org/programs/insidemormonfaith/index.shtml. It includes a child singing "I'd love to see the temple" (or sounds like a child). Hear it at minute 27. The scholar (Robert Millet) asks for a pass on Mormonism's tough questions by saying, "We're in the religion-making business, and this takes time; it takes centuries." I hope you and others who read this will find it a fair presentation and worth your time to listen. NPR had a good report this morning about Hinckley. Read and hear it at http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=7017514. ~Dad
