    As a 1930s husband, I am
    Very Superior

Here are my results as a husband. much Better than expected. I really think my wifes are low, because she is a great wife.

I think that you are an amazing wife!!! We shall form a club of craptacular 30’s wives who are AWESOME in the year 2008!

    And THAT is no surprise!

    Becca,

I filled out both versions, trying to give the “correct” answers rather than how I myself would perform in the role. Evidently I understand what was stereotyped about wives much better than husbands, because I scored 91 on wives and 31 on husbands. Frankly, I don’t believe 31 gives me enough credit for what I know about 1930s American men. I’m guessing I bet on the wrong mix of fact and fiction–too much fantasy about women and too much harsh reality about men.

Hmmm… Now I took the men’s test again, as intended. To my surprise, this says I would have been a Very Superior 1930s (132) husband–as I claimed I actually am. That doesn’t feel so accurate, either. Oh, well…

I got a 16…..much higher than I thought, given I’m a very independent wife! Some of thoses, gave me a good laugh. ‘Have dinner ready for him when he gets home….’ ha ha!
