I am so proud of you for working out even after the fall... which made me laugh... probably as loud as you laughed when I took out the bush of strangers to get my Christmas tree lol!

Becca,

Sure, I'm feeling sorry for you...

I'm glad you aren't hurt more badly, and that you're taking it with such a calm spirit. That's good news about your exercise and fitness evaluation!

I'm glad you're back to blogging. It's a good outlet, and you do it well.

About falling big, remember when I turned my ankle and crashed to the ground at Chaco Canyon? (Actually on the high ground above the canyon.) I hurt and limped the rest of the day, but the biggest discomfort was in realizing my frailty. I think I've anticipated how old people fall ever since that day at age 34. I thought of it again when I learned that my Dad had fallen and then died. The way of all flesh. Welcome to mortality!

For me, it's motivation to write while I can.
