Amidst the frenzy of dance recitals two amazing things seem to have happened seemingly overnight this weekend! First, Jacob has grown! He is officially taller than Elise again!
And second, I found my first truly white hair! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I couldn’t get the camera to focus well close up, but I think you can tell in this picture.
Assuming there was no cheating in staging the photo, Jacob looks ‘way taller. He definitely looked like a young man yesterday! Next thing you know, he’ll be driving and going to prom. No doubt the military recruiters have him on their radar already.
Wow, Jacob! Yes, you’re growing sooooo fast. It was great to see you all. Thank-you for the parking lot picnic. Kids, it was wonderful to see you all dance. Jacob and Cameron, I’m sorry we didn’t see your last performance, but it was just getting too late for your old grandma. We love you much and are very proud of you all. You’re definitely the best!!
You know… if you would quit feeding them good foods, maybe they wouldn’t grow so fast!!!
